Step-By-Step Guide for Setting Up Upfront Partial Payment (Token /Deposit Amount)

Install and Launch the COD KING App In Your Shopify Store →

Install the ‘COD KING’ app from the Shopify App Store if you haven't already. Once installed, navigate to your Shopify dashboard and select 'Apps'. Click on the 'COD KING' app to launch it from there.

  Setting up Partial Payment via COD KING →

To begin setting up Partial Payment in the Cod King app, you will need to access the app's admin dashboard. Once you are in the dashboard, follow these steps:

Go to the app dashboard and navigate to the Partial Payment tab.

Step 1 - Activate Partial Payment

To activate partial payment for the COD orders on your store, click on Enable Partial Payment and save the changes as shown below.

Step 2 - Theme Integration

For this, click on “Enable in Theme (Required) on the extreme right of the image in green color, and you will be redirected to App Embeds at the Checkout Setting of your store. Enable the toggle for 'COD King OTP Block,' and then click 'Save' in the top right corner as shown in the image below.

Step 3 - Manage Partial Payment Rules Click on Add Rule in Green Color as shown below

Step 4 - Configure the settings step by step as follows

• Click on Enable Rule

• Set the Rule Name as you want

• Select the Amount type as Percentage or Fixed or both for Partial Payment, COD for Cash On Delivery as shown in the image below

Step 5 - Now it is mandatory to create another rule for Full Payment so that if your customer does not want partial payment or Cash On Delivery and is instead willing to pay the full total cart amount by prepaid payment method options on the checkout page, then there must be an option for him/her to do so.

Once your customer selects any option for partial payment, then it will redirect to the checkout page, and there the right side, customers will get all details related to the Partial Payment that they selected on the above popup.

Now, when they pay the details of that order, you will get the tag of partial payment, and also in notes and product details, you will get details information for the Partial Payment.
